These are heavy, vintage sterling forks.The forks are well cared for estate sterling. The 4 tined forks, with the bevel on the first tine, are 5-7/8" long. There is no monogram and no monogram removal.The condition is excellent with light scratches expected in vintage sterling. The pattern is crisp. The tines were gold washed and some of the gold wash remains. The leading replacement house charges $60.00 per piece for these forks. Here is a vintage matched set of 12, very difficult to come by. The set will come in a nice tarnish resistant storage cloth.The back is marked with the DURGIN hallmark D and "STERLING," as well as the name of the original retailer, "BAILEY BANKS & BIDDLE CO."
