Description
This auction is for 9 sterling silver serving pieces made by Durgin in the Fairfax pattern (1910).  Everything is in very good, used estate condition with no major dings, dents, or scratches.  There are signs of light use and polishing and everything could use a good polishing.  Some pieces have monograms, others do not and will be noted below.  See pictures 4-6 for the various monograms on these pieces, and see the last picture for the hallmarks on the back (Durgin's makers mark, and Sterling).  Included in this set is: sugar spoon - 5 7/8", .96 troy, monogram capital B & also has a monogram (see picture 3). cream ladle (solid) - 5 1/4", .80 troy, no monogram. 2 lemon forks - 5", .42 troy, .88 total, monogram capital B.  One also has the monogram in picture 3 on the back.  Bon Bon spoon (pierced bowl) - 4 3/4", .72 troy, monogram B. Large solid jelly server - 6 1/4", .93, no monogram. Short handle pickle fork (I think) - 5 3/4", .58 troy, no monogram. Small solid cold meat serving fork - 7 1/2", 1.8 troy, picture 3 monogram.
