It’s made of solid heartpine and still retains its original stain. Please note that heartpine is not white pine; it’s a hardwood. The pew is in great original condition. There are a few worn spots in the stain, but there are no breaks, cracks, or chips. It’s very sturdy, strong, and heavy. There are no religious carvings on it, so it could fit nicely into different settings: school, home, restaurant, etc. This pew is so long you could actually cut it, and make several narrower pews. You could even cut it to make a corner nook. Excellent quality at a great price—don’t miss out! * We specialize in restoration and could refinish or strip it for an additional charge.
