SO TYPE IN THE 3 Ws FOLLOWED BY : .925-1000.COM .  On offer from England is this sterling silver  footed salver bearing the hallmarks  for  Sheffield 1906     and the makers mark of  Harrison Brothers & Howson  .  The hallmarks are on the back of the salver.  It is of good size and  weight .  The  diameter is  12 inches . The  weight is  732   grams , about 23.5 troy ounces.     The design is   excellent ,  the whole a pleasure to behold. The salver  is  inscribed  : HONOURABLE ARTILLERY COMPANY   /   No 5 COMPANY   /   MUSKETRY  COURSE   /   1906   /   LIEUT.R.C.COLE   /   COMPANY SHOT   /   PRIZE PRESENTED BY MAJOR G.A.MARSHALLIn the centre of the salver is the regimental crest of the Company .The quality of the engraving is of the highest order. The whole is in EXCELLENT CONDITION and is beautifully polished ready to go on display.  For your guidance , I use the words " EXCELLENT CONDITION " only if it is ........., " GOOD CONDITION " to indicate that there are no serious condition problems , but that there may be surface blemishes such as light discolouration , minor dings , dents or scratches commensurate with the age of the piece..............
