This is a Louis XV style desk that belongs to mid 19 century. It has lovely bronze workmanship on the legs, on the dawers and on the edge of the desk. It has lovely inlayed fruitwood workmanship. This bureau plat comes with originial leather top. The piece for its age is in excellent condition an is very well kept except some rubb-off to the leather top due to the age. The rectangular top with cast border and inset with tooled leather writing panel and fitted with three crossband drawers to the undulating frieze with opposing faux drwaers, raised on angular cabriole legs headed by cast chutes and ending in paw sabots.   height 30in (76cm); width 4ft 11 1/2in (1.51m); depth 32in (81cm) This piece has been obtained from Mrs. Barry G.Wagner Estate.   WE ALSO ACCEPT LAY AWAY PLANS.
