Our goal is to fabricate truly unique handcrafted jewelry that is designed to last a lifetime at an affordable price. Our jewelry has its roots dating back to 1945 when Herb's dad, Kurt, handcrafted hundreds of stunning "coin rings and other unique things" to help him survive as a prisoner of war during World War II. At first, to supplement a starvation diet, Kurt would make a coin ring in secret and trade it for bread with the prison guards. He was eventually caught, received punishment, and was informed by the commander of the prison camp that he would continue making jewelry and other crafts exclusively under his direction. Consequently, prison food improved, he regained his strength and was busy planning a successful escape.....but that is another story. Herb's dad passed the process on and has encouraged us in improving his process. Certain images/photos are the copyrighted property of JupiterImages and are used with permission under license.
