Description
For clock information, see Antique-Clock-Trader.com This clock is one of a kind and was made in 1948. The markings say "Made by Master J.A. Soultis, in 1948, D.P. Camp Karlsruhe" The balance wheel is about 2 inches in diameter and it has two dials. One dial is time only, but the second dial has month, day of the week, and date. 60 hour wind and it runs great. It has only one source of power and both dials are regulateed by the one oversize balance wheel. About 1994 it was on display at the Dallas NAWCC Convention and I was offered $10,000 for it. However, at the time it was not for sale. If you are the gentleman from Chicago that made that offer and you still want the clock, I will take your offer. At 65 years old, I am ready to let someone else love some of my collection of 50 years. The glass dome was cut from an anniversary dome and it has a crack so I doubt that it will survive the trip. However, a standard anniversary clock dome can be cut down and will fit the block just as the one shown does. For clock information, see Antique-Clock-Trader.com
