Solid brass hardware. Hand-cut dovetailed drawer joints.         This stunning mahogany sideboard was originally crafted in England during the Edwardian period, around 1910. It is solid wood, and the mahogany has developed a lovely patina over the years. There are narrow string inlays of ebony and satinwood found throughout the piece, as well as a decorative satinwood pattern at the center of the backsplash. This piece also has three drawers and three cabinets. Each of the drawers features lovely solid brass pulls and hand-cut dovetailed joints. The drawers and cabinets also have bandings of satinwood on their fronts. Also, this piece has six square, tapered legs which provide plenty of support for the weight. There are a few dings and bumps on this piece, as you would expect a good antique to have, and the middle drawer sags slightly, but none of this detract from the beautiful charm of this antique piece.  Overall, this is a stunning antique and should make a lovely addition to any home!
