Description Here is an Original Painted Blue Romanian Bench circa 1896. The circa date is tough to see on the front of the bench due to wear of age, but it is there. Typically the dates on benches like these represent a memorable date, such as a wedding or birth of a child. The bench features a large dove tail drawer at the base. Notice the hand carved scalloped details at the base of the drawer and above the backrest. The backrest also has unique three colored leaf patterns. The dimensions are: 75”w x 23”d x 36 ½”h. Shipping We have been shipping furniture both nationally and internationally for 25 years; whether it is a piece of pottery or a massive armoire, we are well experienced at handling our antiques with great pride and patience. Most of our furniture weighs over the 150 lb. limit or the maximum dimensions that UPS, FedX or USPS allow, due to these limitations and the necessity to properly handle our pieces we use a company with over 50 years of experience. We use Plycon Transportation Group, an A rated shipper in the industry since the 1950s. They professionally, blanket wrap and protect every piece with absolute precaution and devotion to customer satisfaction. We never charge you for handling or warehousing fees. Many of our competitors add additional fees to handle and setup delivery arrangements. Also, if you are not ready for your piece right away, simply make the proper arrangements with us and we will store your piece in our warehouse until you are ready. This is a free service that we have offered for years and wish to extend to our online customers as well. If you have purchased a smaller item: Any items such as paintings, pottery, smaller chairs, stools, or other accessories will be shipped either by USPS or UPS. We use the most cost effective method to deliver the item to you safely. Shipping time-frames will vary for smaller items, but typically arrive within 5 business days after payment has been received. Shipping Time-frame and pricing estimations: Once payment is fully made, your purchase will be picked up within 3 business days and we will email you with all necessary tracking information. Our shipper will make the delivery of your piece within 14 business days after they have picked it up from our Denver location.
