Hand-cut dovetailed drawer joints.        This beautiful chest of drawers was recently constructed from solid walnut, in England, using the same old-world techniques that were used in furniture making during the Georgian and Victorian periods. The color and grain are exceptional, as can be seen in the pictures, and the elegant "inverted bow" structure adds to the allure of the piece. The chest has five drawers; each are spacious and slide easily in and out. All the hardware is new brass, and the locks come with five working keys. The base is skirted, and sits on sturdy, semi-splayed feet. Overall, the piece is in excellent condition. The only imperfection is a split in the back panel.
