It measures 33" high, 50" wide and 21.5" deep. Appraised in 1998 by Sotheby's for $7,500. (We will be happy to include a copy of the appraisal at time of purchase.) It features Chinese scenes of figures, pagodas and trees on the top, sides and drawer fronts. It has a valanced apron and five bobbin-turned legs. Bail-handled brasses. This chest comes from the collection of Roni Steinberg Sokoloff, and resided in her former 63-acre estate in Bedford New York known as Cantitoe Farms.
