Beveled mirror at back of center shelf, This auction is for one of an identical matching set of two. There is a handcarved image of a man on one, and of a woman on the other one (see the pictures). The only difference between the two are the half figure carvings of the man and woman on each. I believe they could have been wedding gifts for the couple depicted in the carvings. It stands 8' high to fit in any room. It comes in two separate pieces, one upper section and one lower section with a pair of cabinet doors on the lower section and one lockable single door (the key comes with it) on the upper section, which has the carved figure on it. The intricate bronze cabinet handles appear to be the originals! The carved, half image of the man and woman depict clothing reminiscent of the European styles of the 1600-1700's which they could easily be from. You are bidding on one of the cabinets, but you can purchase the matching one, to keep the pair together, at the same winning bid amount which will double the purchase amount if you want both of them. Purchasing both is totally optional. These pieces are unbelievably beautiful and unique. If you are looking for something which rises above the rest, don't let this get away.
