It is seeded throughout and is a light green color.   This Amazing Old Jar also has the LID.  It is Very Rare to find this Exquisite Jar in this Great Condition with the lid.  It measures 18 inches to the top of the lid, 15 inches without lid.  It has a huge Pontil on the bottom of the jar.  The lids’ Pontil is the handle/knob itself.  This handle/knob does have a chip, but otherwise the jar and lid are in Excellent condition for its’ age!!  Imagine all the uses for this Fantastic Rare Jar!!
