We do our best to describe the condition of our pieces as precisely as possible and we take as many pictures as possible so that you do not have any surprises when the piece finally arrives! Please note, however, that you are buying antiques (some of which are older than 100 years!) and not new items! All of our pieces are in used condition and have the necessary wear associated with them. Most our items have chips, mars, splits to the wood and wear associated with their age! We often do not overstate obvious and expected signs of normal age and wear that are a part of any antique. When purchasing from us, please keep in mind that the items are not new! Color of items might be slightly different from what you see on your screen depending on the pictures and your monitor settings! You are always welcome to come to our warehouse and take a look at all of our pieces in person! You will see that they are even better in real life! Shipping Policy & Procedures: Shipping costs are never included in the prices of our antiques! All questions in regard to shipping must be asked before the purchase of an item! The buyer is responsible for all shipping charges including insurance.   If you would like to have any of our items shipped you can: A) Set up shipping yourself with a shipping company of your choice B) Have us set up shipping for you.     If you would like us to set up shipping for our larger pieces (cabinets, tables, chairs, mirrors, etc.) and fragile items: 1.) Provide us with your address and we will get you a shipping quote! Please do this before you purchase or before the end of an auction so that there will be no surprises as to the cost of shipping. Since most of our items are large pieces shipping is never cheap. (Shipping usually runs about $300-$495 for a regular sized cabinet!) 2.) We use the shipping company AC Delivers since their prices are very competitive and we have had a great experience with them over the years. AC Delivery specializes in the handling and shipping of antique pieces! 3.) It is the buyers' responsibility to follow up with the shipping company in regards to estimated delivery time and all other inquiries! AC Delivery's shipping policy states that all items will be delivered within 30-60 days of pickup from our warehouse. They usually pick up the item within 3 weeks of booking! Please realize that we cannot be responsible if the shipping time happens to take longer than anticipated! We have no control over their business and do not control shipping schedules! If you need an item quickly this can be arranged as well, but express shipping is a great deal more expensive! You must let us know this at the time of purchase! Shipping of our smaller pieces (decorative arts, small pieces of furniture, etc.) will be handled either via UPS or FedEx Ground. Some items are too fragile to ship via FedEx or UPS (i.e. Larger mirrors and chandeliers) and will have to be shipped via specialty carrier.     3. Return Policy: A.) Musing Antiques will only accept Returns if Property purchased is materially different than as represented on this site. In this case the original buyer shall have the right within three days of receiving the Property to rescind the transaction by so notifying the seller and by returning the Property to the seller via the same shipping company it was shipped out with, in the same condition as when received by the buyer, at the buyer's risk, cost and expense. The money paid for shipping the item to the buyer is non-refundable. (Be aware that we usually offer shipping discounts to facilitate shipping. The price that you will be responsible for is the full amount that the shipping company charges us for both ways!) After three days from time of delivery, the buyer implicitly agrees to accept and keep the item(s) in "as is" condition. i. Risk of Loss, destruction or damages of or to item(s) purchased shall be on Musing Antiques until item(s) is / are picked up by the shippers. ii. If the item(s) was damaged during shipping, the buyer needs to contact the shipper to resolve this matter. Musing Antiques will provide any necessary paperwork to help buyer with his/her claim but will not be responsible for any losses incurred, including but not limited to loss of value to the item. The buyer shall be responsible for all shipping costs, both outbound and inbound. The money paid for shipping the item to the buyer is non-refundable.
