There may well have been a larger, more sumptuous tome dedicated to this subject, but I've never seen it. Hardcover. 10"x13", 290 pages, 24 black & white plates plus other black & white and line illustrations. Bound in handsome quarter leather and linen; ribbed spine, gilt titles, marbled endpapers.
