The bookcase was almost certainly originally part of a bureau bookcase at some period, having in the past had feet fitted with a solid mahogany top.  A lovely quality piece of antique furniture.Date:The bookcase dates circa 1820, having had later adaptations during the early 20th century. Condition:The bookcase is in good condition, having minor wear adding to character and authenticity.
