I also look for handles with only slight or no apparent wear.  I regard these old silverware pieces to be true works of art, a remnant of an era when artistic talent and production standards were valued in the silverware industry.  In this day of bland and poorly cast stainless handles, and plasticware, these old spoon rings are a tribute to the past.  I do not deal in reproductions, recastings or originals altered in any way.  I also do not make any rings from silverplate.  My prices are determined by scarcity, aesthetic appeal, and my cost to buy materials.  I welcome your questions and comments, and to my many past customers, I am grateful for your generous feedback.  B.
