Hawkes, Corning NY and Wm B. Kerr & Co, Newark, NJ crystal and sterling silver dresser set.    This magnificent HEAVY 4-pc dresser set includes a powder jar, perfume decanter and two small cream jars.  The Hawkes crystal is engraved with a floral swag motif on each side panel and fern & flower motif on each corner panel, while the Wm B. Kerr lids and stopper feature hammered sterling silver with floral & scroll decoration.    The powder jar and perfume decanter are acid-etched signed on the base "Hawkes" and the lids & stopper are all signed with Wm B Kerr's ax and 3 X's hallmark along with "Sterling 6300" and either "4-K10" or "1-K10". The stopper stem is also etched with a "12". The powder jar measures 3 1/4" high and 4 1/4" across the base, the perfume decanter measures 6 1/4" high and 2 7/8" across the base and the small jars measure 2 3/4" high and 2 1/4" across the base.   Condition: These pieces are in excellent condition. The rims are all smooth – one tiny fleabite on the powder jar rim. A few scratches on the glass bottoms as can be expected. One cream jar has tiny nicks on the inside bottom as can be seen in the photo and the stopper stem has a smooth chip on the tip.  Otherwise, this exquisite set is in wonderful condition and displays beautifully.   Please feel free to contact us with any inquiries.
