I BELIEVE THIS IS A PEWTER "CHARGER" WITH I. R. AND CROWN MARKS AND FLOWERS MADE IN ENGLAND IN THE 1800'S. IT MAY BE OLDER THAN THAT. I DO KNOW WHO I. R. IS YET. THE CROWN MARKS ARE FOR THE KING/QUEEN OF ENGLAND. I WISH SOMEONE OUT THERE COULD TELL ME MORE PLEASE. The Charger is in EXCELLENT shape for its age. It has a couple of small dents in the middle of the Charger. I have done my best to read the marks. The I. and R. is on each side of the crown on the back. You can see all this in my pictures. Almost all my items were purchsed from my late Grandmother. She purchased them while she was in Germany, France, Italy, Sweeden, and lots of others countries including the Great USA in the 1950's to the 1970's.
