Description
Weighing in at a healthy 1152 grams or 37.04 ounces this fine and rare Indian Colonial Silver part canteen of fiddle pattern cutlery comprises six dinner forks, six dessert forks, four dessert spoons, a pair of sauce ladles and a butter knife (19 pieces in total) . They are hallmarked for Charles Nephew and Company. They are faintly engraved with a crest and motto, and all hallmarked although some of the pieces are worn. The tines of the forks are a little rounded and all pieces have been used but this is an unusual find as there are so many pieces of Indian Colonial Silver cutlery that is getting harder and harder to find.
