Of oval shape with slice like design set on four stylized supports. The hinged lid with stylized handle, opens to reveal gilt (gold washed) interior. Fully marked with German silver marks as seen in the pictures. This item was probably originally made as a tea caddy or sugar box but since it comes from a Jewish family it was most probably used as an ethrog box. Attractive piece which is an absolute must for any serious collector. A superb Judaica, Jewish, Hebrew, Israel item.
